Edinburg Mill
Print Available Through Eric J. Schauer Photography
The Edinburg Mill was built in 1848 by George Grandstaff. The Mill was in continuous operation as a grist mill until 1978. It was purchased by Jim and Becky Ellis and converted into a home and restaurant.
The Mill survived Sheridan's campaign and was not burned during the Civil War. Although it was set on fire it was saved by a bucket brigade.
The Mill is now owned by the town and a local preservation group.
